Dec. 1, World AIDS Day. Producer David Reid has created a 24- hour art project memorial to remember the names of some of those lost to AIDS, changing the names to the rhythm of a beating heart. “Turn out the lights, open a second screen on your computer, take a few minutes to remember,” Reid says. Watch here: www.aidswatch.org
In West Hollywood, the art project is on Time Warner cable Channel 10. Some names you might recognize, such as “Partridge Family” “The Brady Bunch” actor Robert Reed.
Others are someone’s lover, brother, family relative or friend. The program also runs on smart phones. As in life, each name of a lost individual only appears once and then it is gone. Mediate on the loss and those whose names we wish not to appear here next year.

(Robert Reed was on the TV show “The Brady Bunch,” not “The Partridge Family.”)
Corrected. Thank you.
