Tijuana celebrates its 16th gay pride parade on Saturday, starting at 5:00pm in the downtown area. This year’s International Grand Marshall Ron deHarte, a board member of Greater Palm Springs Pride, according to the San Diego Union Tribune. “We have relied on his guidance and inspiration for many years,” said Lorenzo Herrera, director of Comunidad Orgullo GLBT Tijuana, which is organizing the event.
The paper says the parade will launch from the Alliance Against Aids Clinic at 7648 Calle Primera, and will pass through the main streets of downtown Tijuana, ending at Plaza Santa Cecilia, at Calle Primera and Avenida Revolucion.
