The Monkee’s Davy Jones Dead at 66

TMZ reports that that Davy Jones, the lead singer for the 1960s band The Monkeys died Wednesday of a heart attack. He was 66. I’m among the “young generation” of that time who enjoyed watching the pranks of these actors in the musical comedy TV show.  Here is a clip of the show’s pilot opening – Davy Jones is the one with the striped shirt and hat.
