Excellent article. Here’s hoping you’re right and Amendment One will be defeated and mark a turning point in the fight for marriage equality. One small correction, though. The National Organization (NOM) may appear to be unaffiliated with any church, however, if you follow the money, you’ll see that the organization was founded and funded through a joint effort by the Mormon and Catholic churches for the soul purpose of ending marriage equality in California by creating Proposition 8 and getting it passed.
