From the LA Gay & Lesbian Center: Life Out Loud, the biggest block party of the summer, with food carts, hosted cocktails and the opportunity to walk the streets of one of Hollywood’s most famous backlots! The event features live performances by Savannah Robinson, Eye of Newt Circus, Cortés Alexander and the Swell Girls, and DJ Bia Bia spinning tunes! Guests can race around the Mattel Hot Wheels racetrack, hop on the Wells Fargo stagecoach, get their photos taken in a life-sized Toyota toy car, and have body art done by Marky Make Up! Bully director Lee Hirsch and LifeWorks member Justin Charles Gonzales will be recognized with Courage Awards. Actor Mike Manning will present Hirsch’s award, and L.A. Deputy Mayor Matt Szabo will present Gonzales’ award. Event co-chairs are Kevin P. Berg and Center board member Kin W. Cheng.
