It’s crunch time. EIGHT DAYS to go before Election Day on Nov. 6. The New York Time’s Nate Silver (who one right wing pollster suggested was too “effeminate” to determine polls correctly) has the popular vote between President Obama and former Gov. Mitt Romney at neck and neck, with Romney gaining a slight advantage in some swing states – though Silver predicts Obama will win the Electoral College. Apparently, some voters have been swayed by Romney’s business acumen and his promise to “fix” the economy, which former President Clinton challenges here. Clinton says: “I plead with you: get out there and talk to people about shared prosperity versus trickle-down; for ‘we’re all in this together’ versus ‘you’re on your own;’ for cooperation over conflict; and for arithmetic over illusion.” California has early mail-in voting but applications must be received by tomorrow, Oct. 30.
