Sec. of State Hillary Clinton has made LGBT equality a global issue and HRC asks you to sign a letter from HRC President Chad Griffin on behalf of the LGBT community thanking her as she prepares to leave her position on Friday. (See full letter below).

Dear friend,

This is Hillary Clinton’s last week as Secretary of State.

There has never been an administration as devoted to equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Americans as this one. And Secretary Clinton has been a champion for the rights of LGBT people not just here at home, but around the world.

Today, I’m sending Secretary Clinton a letter to celebrate and thank her for her incredible leadership, and I’d like to ask you to add your name to it. Sign the letter to Secretary Clinton now – we’ll send it over late today.

Thank you for all you’ve done for all Americans, but especially for LGBT Americans. Enjoy your time off, but then I sure hope you find the energy to continue your brilliant service to this great country!
